Thanks for posting that.

I plan to read the whole thing, but not all at once.

I read the summary, and intro already.

It's easier, of course to read the commentaries. But can they be trusted?

For example, I think Forbes and Dershowitz can be trusted as much as any, and more so than most.

Alan Dershowitz On The Durham Report: Good People Doing Bad Things

===============================================

If anything is learned, it's that a lot of this has been going around. Who can say, for example that Trumpsters in general are bad people doing bad things.

Apparently even the FBI is not immune to being human.

But I can't think of a more deserving person than Trump to be investigated - forever.

They may not have been able to prove it beyond doubt, but there was a lot of circumstantial evidence of collusion by Trump and his campaign with Russia.

It was a thought with good intentions, but you are correct.

You can get through it. As you read, you can skim sections as it's not all meaningful info.
People have to remember, bias goes both ways. There has to be a tightening of procedures. You could as well have right leaning bias too.

It says the upper echelon of the FBI at the time collaborated with the Clinton campaign (with the approval of the 0bama administration) to smear Trump. And that steps should be (most already done) made to ensure the FBI was not weaponized for political gain again.

That's crap.

Politifact summarizes it nicely:

Special Counsel John Durham released a 300-plus page report about his probe into the FBI’s and Justice Department’s investigations of allegations that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign had illegally coordinated with Russia to influence the election.

Durham’s report suggested that the FBI acted on unanalyzed, unconfirmed intelligence reports to move too quickly to open a full investigation — rather than a preliminary one — into the collusion allegations. Durham didn’t conclude that the FBI shouldn’t have investigated the allegations at all.

The report didn’t clear Trump and his campaign of wrongdoing because that wasn’t its purpose. Durham was investigating the FBI’s and Justice Department’s conduct, not Trump’s.

And it went on to elaborate on the cozy relationship the FBI leadership had with the Clinton Campaign, where ALL the so-called “evidence” came from (manufactured) even pointing out and defining a back door communication channel the Clinton campaign had with the FBI. Further, it pointed out that the 0bama administration was kept in the loop on Operation Crossfire Hurricane and while having a hands-off approach did come off as approving.

With its mention of the “pre-investigation” it elaborates that with traditional rules and procedures and proper oversight at the top…it could easily be seen that this investigation should have gone nowhere as there was no credible evidence to move on.

As AG Barr has said publicly now a couple of times since the report was concluded: “The Durham Report may not have proven the Russian Collusion Investigation was a witch-hunt…but it concluded it was a close proximation of one.” (Paraphrased)

Is this one of days y’all don’t like him??? 2020 Barr is like a ping pong ball with y’all. When he says something y’all like…y’all draw him like a sword. The rest of the time…he is just the guy Trump appointed. Well he never announced he was Trumps wingman like Holder proclaimed for 0bama.
