I would have to agree. However, has DC had a candidate locally that would require whole cloth rebuking by the body politic like we just saw in NC?

I doubt it. We would have to look at the DC Mayor races as they vote for mayor.

No, the fact pattern would not be the same as NC, but some equal disqualifications traits and see how they vote.

Trump is more repugnant than the GOP Lt Gov from NC. We have said for years his base is 30 percent. I know believe it to be at least 40 percent in the GOP.

Last I saw, about five million votes separated Trump and Harris. Are there five million sexist voters in the US?

Who knows--I sure don't. But the figure is a lot closer to five million than it is to zero. I'm not claiming it was the deciding factor, but it's foolish to deny that sexism was a factor in the election.

Is it sexism or poor candidates from the Dems? I say poor candidates, the border policy sure didn't help.

I think poor candidates is the primary issue but sexism and race plays some role in it also. I think if the Dems would have put just about any other main stream candidate up they probably would have won, but we will never know.

Quit it. Losers resort to racism or sexism as the reason for their failure. The reason for Harris' failure is she is a loser, failed the bar exam (only a small percentage of law students do that), slept her way to the top, had a lousy record as a prosecutor, was chosen as VP on a DEI agenda, etc., etc. Lets not blame it on misogyny or racism.

Kamala was 5 points behind Biden in the female vote. Would you claim this a proof of female sexism?

Is it possible that women are intuitive enough that the can spot a shitty candidate as well, or possibly even better, than a man?

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Dude.. Trump got LESS votes against Harris than biden

Harris got 13.5 million less votes than biden. DURING A PANDEMIC

It's foolish to bring up sexism as a defining factor, original factor, or infer it's GOP sexism. It wasn't like Trump got 13 million more votes than 2020

How about
She was installed not voted
Her entire platform was joy and not Trump
Real quick, name her top 3 important accomplishments as vp

How about a bad candidate... frankly worse than McCain

This is a hallmark of Democratic analysis on just about every political loss.
They just cannot accept that they have ever done anything wrong - it's always the other side.

Every network talking head and show host that spews this nonsense is actively bolstering or creating new GOP members.

If Trump's administration is at all successful, Vance can put all of these remarks in the bank for 2028.
