Depends on how hard trump goes after "Meatball Ron".

I predict trump as the RNC candidate at this point. If he gets indicted, and it's looking more and more like he will, the odds go up for him because of the base outrage at the persecution factor. The boy is resilient and there's no limit to the level of stupidity in your party.

Oh, I dunno about that. The Dems are the best at sabotaging themselves. Biden is a good man and I support him but for god's sake, he is too old. Kamala would be a disaster. It might be a toss-up, even with trump.

I don't think DeSantis has the horsepower. He truly is kind of a zero when you watch him speak.

And I thought the reason why not is because she's a she.

And because repugs have become the party of the savior syndrome.

The political "savior" must be male, authoritarian, demagogue, defend the favored race and the promise land the way it used to be and ought to be, etc.

Can you tell us all about the "good man" that is currently the leader of the GOP?

Maybe touch on the tax cheating, cheating on his pregnant wife with a porn star and paying her hush money with campaign cash, the two impeachments, allegations of rape etc.

You MAGA types sure do have some flexible morals.

It's ironic that I don't recall ever reading that someone thought Trump is a "good man". He's just not considered that way by anyone sane.

Yet he's allowed to hijack the GOP, grab it by the balls and grip tight, and GOPers welcomed him. Many still do and most will vote for him again if and when the time comes.

I've heard the claim that it's not about the man in office, instead it's about the policy and the opposition and the ideology and culture war.

So what is one to conclude? That GOPers would elect a man clearly not good and pretend it's about policy, especially when so much damage has been done?

The most dangerous, to Democrats, is Desantis, because he will win. Trump is stupid enough that he could throw the next election just like he did the last one. If the contest is to be Trump vs. Biden, I can't see a great voter turnout. Regards, Bill

BS, Don't put words in my mouth and attempt to obfuscate the premise (your premise).

I voted for Trump. I'd do it again if he gets the nod. I was a Cruz primary voter.

Trump is brash, loud, and a bombastic bully. His character is also questionable. If he broke laws, I want him held responsible.

That's just it, Your side DOESN'T want your guys held accountable.

If he HAS broken laws, the nutty leftist would have already found a way to indict him, numerous times.

YET...You refuse to admit, Your "Good Man" is a product of a lifetime of feeding at the Washington feeding trough and is as corrupt or more so, than any one man in Politics has ever been.

Trump, in a pole, beats your "Good Man" while having 99% bad press coverage and your "Good Man" has 99% positive press coverage, but still loses.

I don't put words in you mouth. I just interpret what you are writing.

Sure - you would vote for Trump again, despite all that happened and now known.

Where do you get the notion that "your side doesn't want your guys held accountable"? You made that up. I don't ID with my side. But I do know that I don't want good people trying to do good suffering with the likes of Jordon and farce partisan investigations.

I think Trump will be indicted, and those like you will claim persecution. I think it would be great if Trump was incarcerated well before election day, and he is the GOP candidate of choice.

Biden has a lifetime of experience and is uniquely qualified for the office of POTUS. Trump is just the opposite. He is uniquely unqualified for the office for several reasons.

If Trump is high on the poll ratings, that has nothing to do with him being a good man and has everything to do with his scary base.
