Just wait until they go after the meat packers and Big Macs and quarter pounders are $25 or unobtainable. Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

Even if they wanted to it's NOT PHYSICALLY possible for everyone to do it. Imagine if everyone from NY and LA wanted a 50 acre peace and quiet place. Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

"There would be no effect upon my food supply should justice be applied." Maga in a nut shell. As long as it doesn't affect you personally, fuck everybody else.

Every cattleman I know would be tickled pink if Big Macs went for $25. The same cattleman would also love to see the meat packers stranglehold on the industry rectified.

Who would they get to work in those hellholes if it wasn't for Mexicans? Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

Look, I have never had a problem with migratory crop pickers. God Bless them. Y'all would starve without them. I do have a problem with employers undercutting American workers by hiring illegals off the books. I also have a problem with illegals getting a single dime off taxpayers for ANYTHING. Our Congress is one uniparty. It's not me who needs to make the laws to fix the problems, it's them and they NEVER WILL because they don't want to jeopardize their easy money careers and lose votes and lobbyist big monies. BTW- One does not need 40/50 acres to produce for a family. My parents did it on 7 acres. My youth taught me a lot for sure. Hell, back then we walked to school all through elementary. Growing/producing food does mean less time in front of the TV and other entertainments though. When I was a kid entertainment was a treat, not a daily way of life. We worked hard and have been successful productive adults as a result. My generation has not lived in mom's basement. A/D- Do you not hunt for any meat and fill your own freezer? You can also buy direct from a good local farmer and have stock processed at a custom facility. Not really hard to avoid being reliant on shitty quality industrial food. ~Ann ![]()

I hunt, but meat isn't a primary object. Right now I'm not all that physically able to do much hunting unless it's off the hood of my vehicle. I'm selling my deer shotgun and most of my rifles. I'f I was leaving today I'd likely consider staying home as I really don't feel like doing it, plus i's not "in my blood" like it used to be. I couldn't walk 50 feet in a picked cornfield without tripping. If every 10 acre plot for 20 miles around you was occupied I expect that you'd soon get disillusioned with simple living. I was chatting with an acquaintance from Georgia who was talking about retiring and maybe moving as everythig around him is being bought or getting built on and severely cutting into his place to hunt. Frankly, I'd prefer rabbits and squirrels and pheasant over most anything else. Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

I have CVI Chronic Venous Insufficieny CKD mild onset diabetes neuropathy in my feet and legs, nerve damage in my right lower leg and foot with foot drop, my lower back is a fucking mess and I can hardly walk any distance. I've had the usual lumbar surgery, but there's more going on than that and nobody seems to have figured it out. At the bottom of the Mayo Clinic Patient Portal page is a link to connect which is their online message boards and so many people with similar or worse ailments who can't get any help anywhere! I feel like one of those, but nothing I have is life threatening so there's not much to look forward to. Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

There used to be serious fines and penalties to employers that hired undocumented workers, but I guess that went by the wayside during the Biden Administration.

I have the same thing, but in the left leg. It showed up after my heart attack several years ago. And my lower back is shot as well, has been for quite awhile.

Uh huh. I'm sure those serious fines and penalties were enforced from 2016-2020, right? Just like they're being enforced right now during your boy's second go-round.

That has always been one of my serious gripes with both parties! Neither will enforce the penalties on the employers!!!! Hammer their asses for knowingly hiring illegals! .

It's rare, and from 1986 until this point Obama held the record. Apparently, being able to prove willfulness on part of the employer has been difficult for the Govenment to prove. https://www.legaldive.com/news...utman-Pepper/736562/ .
