i smoked ham for Christmas and made garlic smashed potatoes .. So, i diced up about 1/2# of the ham, pan fried it, then the smashed potatoes (mashed potatoes with skin) skillet fried like lakkas, whisked some eggs, made fresh tortillas, and pulled out some homemade salsa -- and Oaxaca cheese a little cilantro and good corn chips (arguably, HEB's chips are as good as it gets), and the family all have a nice quick, warm late brekkie - anyway, I sincerely wish that everyone can enjoy something nice today, too opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? I generally like the stuff made with leftover ham more than the ham as a main course- bean soup, etc.

The very worst smell I have ever had was a pig. A wild boar. I was in Belgium and got invited to hunt a wild boar. I shot one on a very cold and wet morning. First they wanted to put some blood on my face from it. I refused. Then we got into a small 4 wheel car. The pig in the back. The stink was so bag I had to open the window and stick my head out!

Yeah big old boars can taste as bad as they smell too. If I get one that smells Ill chuck it, though a lot of times Id give them to the Local Maori population, who have a cooking method of steaming it slowly underground that actually makes it very edible and lightly smoked. Its just a lot of work to achieve so not worth it unless its a big function. A nice fat 50-100 pound sow though is a different kettle of fish. That's what I'm looking for when I want pork.

This particular steer was big and long enough that when I sliced out each rib-steak there was an inch of ribless in between. These are just the leftovers from the main course and that one in the middle on the right has a bone — I had it for supper last night. ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. The nice thing about rare meat… When you meet an uncultured philistine who wants it well done, you can always throw it back on the fire for another few minutes… if you are given a well done (overcooked) piece there is no turning back the clock on the cooking… ![]()
