Actual reasons, not the usual claptrap.

She did a good enough job as District Attorney to get re-elected, same as Attorney General and, after the voters of California had seen her perform in two high-profile jobs for over a decade elected her to the U.S. Senate, and almost certainly would have re-elected her had she not run as Biden's VP, and won.
