Actually, the entire world has been actively seeking trade deals around the U.S., in an effort to circumvent an untrustworthy and unpredictable U.S.

China is benefiting from this.
Vietnam has a great international relationship with U.S. through trade as a counter to expansionist China. Now, Vietnam is running to China.

This has happened previously. Nations find other trade partners. Trade bring the door to international relationships and isolation for those who bro not want to make money and influence friends.
