The signers of the US Declaration of Independence
from Great Britain suffered greatly: Persecuted or prosecuted, imprisoned, loss of farms, homes, property stolen or burned,
many impoverished for many years following the cessation of hostilities with England.

(Somewhat resembling a former President)

Part of the problem THEN as NOW were TORIES....

Now even those entering as undocumented aliens...OR unregistered "GULP" voters. While other citizens" also risked nothing but concurred in the vile persecution of a past President, like Andrew Jackson, who had worked to stave off the slings and arrows of an outrageous Open Border".

These commentaries are not a comparison, nor even a satire, but to remind those living now of the sacrifices made by generations of Americans before us. Even Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address" in the fury and passion of the Civil War promised an end, a reconciliation, and that the united country was more important than divisive political factions.

Winston Churchill, who guided England through its darkest days in WWII, reminded his countrymen to forget differences and unite against a common enemy.
Our country is too important, our constitutional republic and its freedoms too hard-won to take the easy road to socialism.
Churchill also compared socialism and capitalism:
Socialism resulted in the equal sharing of misery, while capitalism resulted in the equal sharing of blessings.

So take a look at our big cities, with illegal aliens as migrants killing and raping-is this the future you want for your grandchildren?

Wake up, folks-it isn't a dream.

Of course it’s not a comparison. You just accidentally threw in the oblique reference to orange jesus. Trump is out for Trump. The signers were out to found a new nation.

Anyone with a shred of decency and a moral or two would be embarrassed by a lying, cheating, philandering, fraud and convicted felon like Trump.

If there was an exemplary viable candidate choice available…you might have a point. Otherwise we are left to vote for the policy direction we deem as best for the country.

No moral conundrum for me at all. The moral choice is clear. tu2

Please point to “me” using illegitimate data. I acknowledge both sides being guilty…just like Harris was never the border czar. Wink

I'm not much on Harris or Biden for that matter but Trump is easily the most vile human to sit in the Oval Office, if for no other reason, the attempted theft of the 2020 Presidential election alone is enough to despise him.

Vile

Rosevelt

Johnson

Ford was vile but he was useless.

Obama

Clinton got down on the Oval Office. And I guess that’s not vile. Not to mention all the women who came forward about him.

Trump is maybe # 5 or 6 in the modern era.

In the above group, only Trump tried to undermine the principles on which our country was founded, he is easily the most vile man to hold the Presidency.

Clinton was a dog, not quite as bad as the thrice married, whore chasing Orange turd, but a dog none the less.
