Completely agree. I have gotten into heated debates with many Republican voters who are solid Trump. My argument has always been, Trump needs to shut up, and politic to the more moderate R's and independents. He already has his base, but can't seem to understand he needs a broader coalition to win. I've even considered, "what if he is a Trojan horse"? He'd be the perfect one. Win primaries and lose generals. In Arizona's last Senate race, Doug Ducey, our Governor was termed out. He was making noise about a Senatorial run against Mark Kelly. Ducey was poling ahead of Kelly, and ONLY Ducey was doing so. Trump hated Ducey because he didn't follow Trumps Covid strategy to a T. Ducey decided to not primary. Instead, Blake Masters, a political nobody ran and won in the primary because he had Trumps support. He lost big time in the general. Same exact scenario in the Governors race, Lake was a Trump endorsed candidate. Katie Hobbs beat her. Katie Hobbs was probably the worst candidate ever to run. So, yeah, I get it and agree. God, I can't stand it anymore! Am I the only red-blooded male here? Am I the only one who gets shivers down to his toes every time Ann says, "BAWK"? Just thinking about it makes my toes curl up in my shoes.

You are the only one to mention it… So, yeah, it’s probably just you. So, you are so triggered by reading the word “BAWK” in Ann’s posts that you have a physical reaction? And that reaction is so troubling that you have to revive a thread, a thread that you had not even commented on, ask if anyone else is similarly affected? Could it be that the reason the word “BAWK” is triggering you is that past experience has taught you that Ann posting “BAWK” signals to your brain that you are about to read something that is going to upset you because it undermines your world view and leaves you unable to refute this uncomfortable truth? A classic pavlovian response, no? Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure. -Jason Brown

Except most of Ann's posts are easily refuted with a simple google search......
