President Trump sweeps first 9 states. What I do not know is will she get 20 percent in Virginia to get a few token delegates.

I said this thing was over in New Hampshire.

Gov. Haley’s can is not allowing media into her campaign headquarters and will not speak to media.

The interesting thing is how many Republicans aren't MAGA.

Maybe, but the party is dominant MAGA. We know this because the MAGA Messiah is winning. Maybe splitting and destroying the GOP as we have known it, but still winning.

Virginia-57 percent indicate they are not MAGA.

Gov. Haley has no path to the nomination. If I wanted her to have a future, I would consul her to drop out and endorse. If I wanted the party to solidify around the nominee, I consul her to drop out and endorse.

Frankly, she should have in New Hampshire.

President Trump when he speaks tonight needs to not say a word, do not mention Galey at all.

He needs to ignore her. President Trump should speak only to President Biden to juxtapose what his next administration will look like versus President Biden.

A very substantial chunk of her supporters say in exit polls they will not vote for Trump. If that bears out he has no chance unless he can lead a successful insurrection this time.

That would be important in a General. However, that is a minority of the GOP now.

NC GOP Governor Nominee called the Holocaust, “Hogwash.”

In swing state and that President Trump won in 2018, the number two on the GOP ballot is a Holocaust denier. He also wants a heart beat abortion law and to stop marriage protection to adults.

This Party has lost all its senses. I only hope this defeat in the general smartens them up. However, just like in 2018, it won’t.

The "pollsters" need to pack up their clipboards and go home.

538 had Trump winning Virginia by 49%, he's struggling to win by 29%.

If I understand you correctly you say if you wanted Haley to have a future you'd advise her to drop out and endorse Trump. I'm thinking maybe if she has integrity she's say no to that kind of future.

I just wouldn't endorse a candidate I oppose or opposed. Especially in this case, to me integrity counts.

She has done said she will endorse President Trump when he gets the nomination.

What happens to all those voters Jefffive likes to identify she gets when she endorses. Do they follow her to President Trump. I believe most do, and the rest do not vote for either President Trump or President Biden.

A substantial (but unknown) number of them will simply stay home, denying those votes to down-ballot candidates, like the Gubernatorial nominee in N.C.

What percentage of the Haley voters will vote for Trump? You can make the case that today was Trump’s high water mark.

Probably a majority, but by a small margin. She pulled nearly all of the Republican-leaning Independents, and they despise Trump.

I agree a small percentage will stay home. Most are going to vote for President Trump.
Will it be enough in the general?

Run the race is the only answer.

Haley kept saying 40 percent was her mark. 40 percent that would not vote President Trump in the primary. Well, that number across the states tonight is 25 percent.

Do you drive on socialist roads, depend on socialist police and fire services and the socialist military, get mail through the socialist Postal Service, send your kids to public schools, enjoy National Parks and Forests, shit into a socialist sewer system, want criminals locked up in a socialist jail after being tried in a socialist Court, eat food that's reasonably safe because of the socialist FDA or get forecasts from the socialist National Weather Service?

But, of course, all the shit that the community collectively provides for that you happen to like isn't socialism, is it?

Sure as fuck isn't pure capitalism.

In the last election the two party voters were split pretty damn evenly, and it was the independent voters that edged Biden into the win although barely. I see the same thing happening this election. The two parties will essentially cancel each other out and the independents will decide who is the next president. the only difference I see is with Trumps legal troubles and rhetoric more of the independents are going to vote for Biden so I think the margin for Biden will be just a little bigger.

I wouldn’t say never…. But why would Michelle Obama want the job? It aged the hell out of Barack and she directly saw that while the office has power, it is in no way absolute. She’s got money, influence, and the ability to act like an ordinary citizen now. I can’t see the advantage to her to run or be POTUS.

But I can certainly see the Democratic Party switching candidates if they can see an advantage to it.

HRC’s nomination showed that the power is in the party structure, not in the hands of the democrat voters… don’t forget what happened to Sanders.
