All political systems are corrupt, even yours. It just depends on what brand of corruption you like and the extent of it. The American people voted to shit can the bumbling, dimented, impaired, perverted liberals in favor of one they have known had their basic interests at heart. The gorilla in the room is the balooned budget and unpayable interest on the debt. If Trump's policies can unleash energy production and AI dominance, perhaps the crash can be dialed back through GDP increases. We also need to stay out of other countries business. We are not the planetary defence force. Defend ourselves - yes. The industrial complex needs to find other ways to make money other than funding proxy wars and making our people sick. All with our tax dollars.
