Really though, we have heard or seen it said many times that one of the reasons they voted for Trump is/was because he's a business man and would run the Govt. like a business. So, what greater business opportunity is there than POTUS? He's doing exactly what was predictable. He thinks he can raise trillions from tariffs and eliminate or reduce income taxes, especially for the rich and the producers. He knows tariffs are tax tied to consumption and regressive. It's like a national sales tax on imports including materials. He knows there is no greater position to enrich himself, family, buddies, loyalists.
