So at the Senate hearings today to hear testimony from former CD Director Susan Monarez, this nit wit accuses Monarez of lying and suggests he has a recording to prove it.
"It was a recorded meeting, so you can testify one way, or you can prove that you're lying . . . and I'm giving you the opportunity to be honest here, because you've been really walking around the edges and not being truthful."
Then Chairman Cassidy challenges Mullen and says the entire committee should have access to the recording. After the hearing, an HHS spokesperson said there is no recording . . . [t]his was incorrectly stated at the hearing. There is no recording."
Lying has become the standard for the GOP it seems. A witness in Congress does that and they are threatened with contempt. A Republican member of Congress does it and they are invited to the White House for drinks.
