JudgeGMarine Corps Birthday
249 years ago today, in a bar (Tun Tavern in Philadelphia) the first United States Marine Corps recruits were enlisted.
From the Shores to Tripoli to the Halls of Montezuma to Belleau Wood to Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima to the Chosin Reservoir to the Hill Battles and Hue City of Vietnam to The Battles Of Fallujah, we’ve done our best, bleeding and dying some ‘cause the guys we fight are badass, too, but mainly kicking ass and taking names.
God Bless my brothers and sisters, still with us or guarding the Golden streets of heaven.
