The music video for “Everywhere” off the Tango in the Night album is the story of the “The Highwayman.” Not the county music super group, but the English poem by Alfred Noes.

The poem is about a Highwayman whose love dies when she kills herself to warn him about a Red Coat ambush. He rides into a volley of bullets once he hears the shot that killed her. The lovers are reunited in death.

I liked “ Everywhere” until I saw the music video described above about two years ago. Then o loved it for its geekness with the video. Loreena Mckennit, sings to music an epic version of “Highwayman.” Look it up.
