I will add, in this case, not at your own risk, but at the risk of students, parents, faculty, alumni, and members of the surrounding community who came to listen to two folks who had been invited to speak by students at U.C. Davis,
two folks who apparently met any and all parameters set to do so.

Our students in particular, as part of their overall learning experience must be allowed to attend these events without the threat of harm or death.

You obviously have found an outlet other than FOX reporting this news story.

Did that source point to the fact that during this event and most TurningPointUSA and UK events, that there is an open mic portion during the event in which ANYONE with an opposing view is offered the mic to share their thoughts, opinions, feelings, and a platform to debate?

Let's be honest. Those leftist protesters outside the venue weren't there to debate.

They came black bloc, to block access, block free speech, and in at least two cases, came to "fuck shit up".

I also noticed you omitted the fact that a police officer was assaulted and pulled to the ground.

That officer was amongst those who your lackadaisical attitude(s) affected.

So, as much as I would like to say it's a free country, and carry on at your own risk, maybe what I'll do is ask you to stop poo poo'ing and consider your poor decision making may very well be paid for by others.

One of the interesting things I've found while researching this event elsewhere, is that there are a number of people on the left saying this was, BAD
That it was antithetical to free speech & the intellectual exchange of opposing points of view which in many cases, but not all, lead to solutions.

But I guess none of them are members here...pity
