You are correct on both counts.

while we are on the subject, remington also neutered the 257 roberts .. like every REM factory load is below book middle loads .. the win +p is a blast, but back you loads off 2 grains and work back up.

And screwed up the 6mm Remington, 280 Remington, and the 350 Remington and its rifles were abominations.

The 350 Rem should have been the 350 Norma is a full sized rifle.

The issue w the 280 is not its creation. The issue was Remington’s execution of the cartridge.
