i wont answer all your points but i can tell you that despite what you think there will no winners in a case a economic war especially among neighbours ans past friends: the damages done are way beyond you can imagine and trump has done what nobody will have believe possible you raised patriotism in canada and now you can raise the canadian flag with pride ... the rest is history and it will take a lot of efforts to become good neighbours then friends again if ever ...

you might be right - i don't know enough Canadians to have a real opinion --

I do know that Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, and Japan are all happy trading partners - and we fought actual hot wars with them in the past , so maybe that 'forever ruined' isn't so forever

i think you might have to review about happy trading partners means lol ...i doubt vietnamese (not politicians) japanese (not politicians (ever been to hokkaido?) germans (not politicians) are really pro usa and especially with what is happening in the last few weeks ...
