If there was a soft coup, it wasn't Harris that did it. She may well be the beneficiary of it, assuming that one happened, but she was not the one running it. It is certainly self evident that Biden did not of his own free choice abandon his reelection campaign... Why did he do it, then? If it was forced on him, and was not a judicial act, isn't that pretty much the definition of a coup? | |||

There are no such things as soft coups. They can be bloodless as when an armed force demands the persons abdication, the person submits. Those armed then set a government that is not created through the constitutional due process for forming a government. That is not happening with President Biden. | |||
