Political lawsuits like that are all too common. Got involved in one when I practiced in Alaska.

Didn't Trump file suit recently trying to prevent Harris (note that I don't use an honorific for her either) from inheriting Biden's campaign fund?

You are correct.

However a pac or campaign action isn't a government action.

I am certain You can see the difference

On the biden to Harris funds, if the campaign had sent the money to a new campaign it would be fully within, as I poorly understand them, FEC guidelines

If there was a soft coup, it wasn't Harris that did it. She may well be the beneficiary of it, assuming that one happened, but she was not the one running it.

It is certainly self evident that Biden did not of his own free choice abandon his reelection campaign... Why did he do it, then? If it was forced on him, and was not a judicial act, isn't that pretty much the definition of a coup?

There are no such things as soft coups. They can be bloodless as when an armed force demands the persons abdication, the person submits. Those armed then set a government that is not created through the constitutional due process for forming a government.

That is not happening with President Biden.

No, that's not the definition of a coup; look it up.

I don't get why you Republicans are all wrapped around the axle over how the Democrats chose their candidate. You didn't listen when Democrats told you not to run Trump--so why should the Dems care about your preferences?

You're just bitter you don't get to run your boy against a senile old man, as you think of Biden.

Yes, I know you say you won't vote for Trump. But you sure sound like a Trumpist at times.

A sitting president forced out of contention and replaced by a non democratically selected candidate ? Sure sounds like a palace revolt to me. Confused

They even have a Coronation "convention" in a couple hours. Couldn't even pretend to vote for a candidate there.

So, are they going to 25th sleepy joe?

I would 25th Amendment President Biden on the basis of he is too feeble to run, he is too feeble to serve.

However, like President Regan, the Cabinet will let him finish out with as much dignity as possible.

Nothing new, last two primary seasons were pretend elections...

They could do like here, implement a top-two election regime to strangle third parties in their cribs.
