I saw that reporting too but they are now saying it was in the West Wing. Which isn't usually open to visitors? I dunno.

Time will tell and plenty of time to hang or condemn at fault.

Visitors can go there, but have to be fully screened by secret service first. So if a tourist got through with powder they really screwed the pooch.

Why does this remotely matter?

Willie Nelson is said to have smoked a joint on the Whitehouse roof, JFK is said to have missused pills,? How many different Executives abused alcohol?

Good God! There's not a single American pro or anti Biden that this topic will make the slightest difference with.

I didn't vote for Biden, never have, never will and neither this issue nor his turkey kid had anything to do with it.

Do not know about the current administration-
in the past:

The three categories of visitors most likely to get a West Wing tour are:
(1) friends and family of White House employees,

(2) celebrities or prominent political activists who contact the White House Office of Political Affairs, and
(3) friends and prominent supporters of Members of Congress who themselves contact the White House Office of Political Affairs.

The White House has historically had a rule that West Wing tours can only occur outside of regular business hours and when the President is not in the West Wing.
Most West Wing tours, therefore, occur on weekends.

well , let's put it this way,
During the Bush years (and before) on my very rare times in the WW,
we were " heavily" scrutinized, including drug and bomb sniffing dogs--

guess those days are gone

I don’t know. It doesn’t sound good. Late reporting is saying that Biden’s press Secretary about 2:30 am went to pick up a folder she had left earlier in the West Wing. She surprised Jill and Joe. Jill had white powder smeared all over her face. Worse yet, Joe was nude, on his knees and he had a red ball in his mouth.

Sure hope it’s not true. I’ve been worrying about this half of a thimble full of white powder since I first heard about it this morning. Ann of Ravensbruk has it right: Drug tests for everyone.

Make light of it all you want but the fact is this - if staff can sneak cocaine into the West Wing then they could also bring in other substances such as fentanyl, ricin or anthrax for example.
This is a serious problem which you would recognize if you're an honest man.

You make a point, Huvius.

Tonight, I’ll put my chin on my fist and consider which is more important: The fraction of an ounce of coke or heat records being broken across the US today.

The nice thing is that I don’t need to worry about the coke because we have you and Ann of Ravensbruk on it like bird dogs.

Keep up the important work.

And Huivus just in case you missed it; I know that you are obsessing about it, in the last 4 months, 3 teenagers in the United States have wanted to have their nuts cut off and given a surgical crack.

The source should be tracked down, if possible, as for any other drug find, no matter where the trail leads.

So long as coke is illegal, someone is guilty of a crime.

To the contrary, there’s a lot to worry about: To many ignorant deniers like you.

Just wondering: You and your fellow loons are so concerned about this transgender thing when in fact it’s a relatively small number, yet you remain silent about facts like nearly 30 killed and over 100 Americans shot on the Fourth of July alone. Many of which were small children.

I am experienced enough to spend my mental capital on the things I can actually influence.
I have no effect on climate change but I do have an influence on how my kids are educated and whether I choose to live in a fantasy world.

The White House is one of the most controlled areas in the world, at least when the president is in residence.

I would say the odds are pretty good the cocaine is from either a staffer or a politically connected visitor.

I would think it’s pretty easy for the government to figure out whose it was… but not in a method that would be permissible in court.

The best answer would to drug test every employee/government agent/contractor there and fire any with illicit substances found. Keep up the testing for an undisclosed but substantial length of time. And if I was the president, I’d be the first one in the John to leave a sample.

I know it’s not the president that did it, it’s that he’s setting an example.

By making it a hassle, it would get the employees to realize that both the government is serious about no illicit substances, and that you should be responsible about who you invite to the WH.

Given it's common knowledge Donald Trump Jr is a cocaine head, maybe he planted it knowing it would eventually turn up?

Hunter admits to smoking crack, impregnating strippers and banging his dead brothers wife but no…it had to be a Trump!

Sports books have Hunter at +170 as the culprit.

Use the defense E. Jean Carroll published about Hunter S Thompson's drug trial, "...the Doctor has so many visitors...".

And now it is reported that the cocaine was not actually found in an area where visitors or the public would have access as was first reported.
So, certainly it belonged to a staff member and yet they still claim that it will be very difficult to determine who's it was...

Mike, on the other thread you mocked me saying,

"It was probably inside Hunter Biden's laptop.

The reporting I'm seeing based on WH police reports is that it was found in an area where tourist visitors to the WH are required to leave their phones when they arrive for their tours.

But, by all means.....let's scream COVERUP!!!!"

So, the "reporting" you saw was entirely false, right? Reports from the WH Police...
Why was that information disseminated? Why did KJP repeatedly claim it was in a "highly trafficked" area" and just yesterday said it was likely left by a "tour guest" when we now know that is not at all possible?
Why lie about it from the start?
