When will Americans finally wake up and quit blindly following the Democratic/MSM machine.

Everyone with any sense knew this before Zuckerberg.

If it’s not Russia, it’s COVID. And of course the border is fully closed. 2020

It’s not like anyone had to make an official announcement that JB needs jumper cables to get him going each morning, it has been kind of obvious the poor guy was past his use by date for quite a while.

At his age he should be out fishing or sitting on the deck with a cold beer, I’m damn sure I won’t be doing anything I don’t want to be if I last that long.

I sure appreciated and miss the era of print news.

A daily newspaper flung at my front door. Weekly news magazines like US News and World Report and Time magazine in the mailbox and left on the coffee table for a month or more.

That in hindsight was the real Information Age.

Well.....

quote:
“In 2021, senior officials from the Biden Administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn’t agree,” he said in the letter. “Ultimately, it was our decision whether or not to take content down, and we own our decisions, including COVID-19-related changes we made to our enforcement in the wake of this pressure.”

“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,” he continued. “I also think we made some choices that. with the benefit of hindsight and new information, we wouldn’t make today. Like I said to our teams at the time, I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction — and we’re ready to push back if something like this happens again.”

Sounder pretty ominous to me......but then I don't excuse democrats for every single horrible thing they do.....

No, you just excuse sedition.

And, by the way, I'm not excusing the behavior. I'm just pointing out it's not government censorship per the OP title.

The knee-jerk exhibited TDS exhibited here is so real and invasive that the victim is willing to abandon all honesty and intelligent inquiry at the alter of an alternate truth where men can become women, the color of one’s skin is more important than one’s character, the ends always justify the means and self righteousness and self denial syncopathy with co-sufferers is the only goal in life.

Again, where’s the Progressive/Socialist outrage with this admitted censorship and abuse of the 1st Amendment.

Internet providers and social media sites enjoy special immunities from a sundry of common law liabilities under the pretense that they are not creating content, but are just a public forum passing along information. When they have been caught and/or have admitted their purpose is biased political manipulation, perhaps those so acting (both corporations and individuals) should lose their immunity, have to report their efforts as “in kind” contributions (regulated by campaign finance laws and criminal statutes)…. tu2 remembering Trumps 34 felonies… and in the future, elections might be a wee bit more fair.

If they were helping conservatives there would be an instant call to action.. some folks wouldn't know fair play if they were slapped in the face with it...

I personally have issue with social media and section 230, as the social media companies are editing (therefore owning final say) and not merely moderating

They just can’t help themselves, can they. I write something in reference to a sufferer of TDS and immediately someone (instead of focusing introspectively on their own character as was the reference), leaps to an inaccurate conclusion of my past voting record. TDS reactions are as sure as wet and rain. The TDS religious faith/cult require everything from a weather forecast to a picture at a graveside to be interpreted as a sign of Trump’s evilness.

Pretty sad to waste that much time hating in lockstep.
