Illegal immigrants are entitled, pursuant to laws passed by Congress, to have hearings on their asylum claims. With the flood of migrants, there are more asylum claims than ever to be heard. There are already not enough ALJs and staff to timely process and decide these claims. Yet, in Boss Musk's and Trump's weird logic, further delays are a good thing. | |||

I do think we need reform. It should not be something that a president can elect to do or not. If we need more ag workers then we should make it legal for them to come here… and not have the rest of the economy subsidize their labor costs for it. | |||
