Been a problem for decades they say?

Trump fixed it in less than one month. I can even live with the few that get through now. They are probably the smart ones.

Edward Abbey said we should meet them at the border, furnish them with a rifle and a case of ammunition, and let Mexicans solve their customary problems in their customary manner.

Illegal immigration is easy to change, raise the quotas and they are legal. When someone objects to that, ask why.

Great Idea!! Same mentality that made California to make stealing 975.00 worth of goods not a crime.

Exactly. It is strikingly different down there now…strikingly. And it only took 3 weeks.

Amazing how some here are willing to sell their country out when they live away from the border.

"Fixed it"? He laid off a bunch of the adminitrative law judges (ALJs) and staff who process and decide asylum claims. Illegal immigrants are entitled, pursuant to laws passed by Congress, to have hearings on their asylum claims.

With the flood of migrants, there are more asylum claims than ever to be heard. There are already not enough ALJs and staff to timely process and decide these claims. Yet, in Boss Musk's and Trump's weird logic, further delays are a good thing.

Yes, and he essentially stopped the flow. There were like 229 encounters yesterday or the day before. A far cry from up to 11,000 under your guy.

We need no reforms. The border is secure.

The cartels are being hunted, as we speak.

I do think we need reform.

It should not be something that a president can elect to do or not.

If we need more ag workers then we should make it legal for them to come here… and not have the rest of the economy subsidize their labor costs for it.

One can only imagine if Biden had appointed Musk in the same way, the maniacal outrage from the right over this foreigner having all this power over the country & the president.

You will go to your grave as a bootlicker.

What about the eleven million illegals who are here already? I thought deporting most of them was a priority. How does Trump expect to accomplish this without enough ALJs?

You beat me to that question. Don't need them far as I am concerned. Tag 'em, bag 'em and ship them home. They can then apply and go through the process as defined by the law like they should have.
