But this is what he said and it meets the definition of Sedition.

https://www.merriam-webster.co...calism%2C%20sabotage

I doubt there's anything to argue, both sides have made up their mind.
Trump said what he did, is unapologetic and the definition of his words have a plain meaning. So if you vote for Trump it looks to me like the plainly obvious is you advocate sedition. Confused

There's no reason to get angry with me, it's all very plain English.

Scott -

I get where you're going with this. How is America to look at a Social Media giant like Twitter or Facebook, colluding with the US Government to sway an election?

THEY by definition have removed our rights to free speech, haven't they?

Keep in mind, I am not in favor of what Trump espouses here, just food for thought.

Seems to me that you Scott start attacking our right to protest government if we disagree with governmental decisions
Like Steve pointed out, any protest assembly can be seditionist and that is totally and unequivocally unamerican
He even gave you examples
Are we speeding to some futuristic snitch society where everything you say and do will be considered removal from society/death sentence?

The Constitution only prohibits Congress from abridging free speech Rights, not a corporation.

You know that is being tested. Only publishers have immunity. You can't obfuscate that away.

Weird and here you have been hating on citizens united all along. Perhaps you should spend some time in introspection to understand your own hypocrisy in defending yet denying/defending corps about the 1st amendment... you won't, but most adults outside of peckerwood county would

And no problem with the FBI regularly meeting with Twitter and FB to decide on which content comes down and which doesn't.

The laptop conflagration may have changed the election had it stayed up. The FBI had it removed, knowing it wasn't Russian disinformation and probably got Biden elected.

So, he's endorsed the FBI deciding who is POTUS.

Trump's quote is very plain, easy to understand English. There's no alternative interpretation.

The Webster's dictionary definition is very plain, easy to understand English. There's no alternative interpretation.

You can try to put words in my mouth, but as what I say here is in very plain, easy to understand English there is also no alternative interpretation.

You have wandered off into the fantasy land where Trump's a stable genius who looks like Elvis.

Hi Steve, send me a pm update when you can. I'm rubbing elbows with you at the moment in Phoenix, flying home to the ice and wind tomorrow. Frowner

Hopefully , (sincerely,) the big electro magnetic pulse will sooner than later send twitter and Facebook to "Davey Jones Locker" and we won't have to worry about their influence. Regardless, you and I as well as the rest of the opposition still retain unfettered access to a very free liberty to speech digitally, physically and other. "the web" has demonstrably outgrown censorship.

I like our fellow pf member and friend Bluefish, but he recently suggested Trump would weaponize the "abc" agencies against Trump enemies. Trump himself in his own words called for suspending the Constitution. Confused
What is there to add?

I believe Biden has doomed the USA with his capitulation in Afghanistan combined with his free for all on the southern border. I will say, "yep, I know," when I read about Islamic terrorists attacking America having been welcomed to the USA via Nogales.

But what are we going to do with "The Donald" employing his Himmler and Goebbels to quash dissent?

"Night of the long knives" is to be repeated.
