Yes definitely interesting. Like Ann I have been around enough of these cases to add that I very seldom see the media get the facts correct. I have had to brief media on the facts of a case and be totally amazed when the report airs and it is nothing like the case facts. Sometimes so different that I wonder if they are talking about the same case. Because of that I take all the "facts" as presented by the media with a very, VERY big dose of skepticism.

It would be interesting, and perhaps revealing, if the times of death are substantially different between Gene and his wife. Can a dog's time of death be deduced?

They're not going to be able to make any sort of reliable estimate on time of death on the wife given the amount of time that has passed.

Time of death estimates are notoriously unreliable anyway. They lucked out with the pacemaker info.
