After 2 recommendation packets “lost” 60 years ago.

I am glad retired Army Special Forces Col. Paris Davis was able to experience this day.

I'm proud that they finally made that they finally made this right.

I'm ashamed it took so long!

A great American!

Just watched the report and award.
What a gentleman. Selfless, genuine, brave and humble.
Cannot put a value on those attributes.
This world needs more people like Paris.

Can we please keep our eye on the ball? Just for this one thread?

I can't find his recommendation information on line.

The information I find indicates he was commanding a patrol that was ambushed and a lot of people were wounded. Davis kept running out into a rice paddy under direct enemy fire and brought several wounded off the field.

Splended behavior.

I watched the whole thing.

Joe was actually lucid and spoke well.
he even dropped the life, liberty, and pursuit of mumble mumble line alluding to him being pro-life.

anyway,,, I got a little blurry eyed as I always do when someone gets the MOH.
