It's sad that it took so long. Great American! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Lane Easter, DVM A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. If Trump got a second run he would have claimed it himself! And his worshippers would have believed him!

Just watched the report and award. What a gentleman. Selfless, genuine, brave and humble. Cannot put a value on those attributes. This world needs more people like Paris. EZ

Can we please keep our eye on the ball? Just for this one thread? I can't find his recommendation information on line. The information I find indicates he was commanding a patrol that was ambushed and a lot of people were wounded. Davis kept running out into a rice paddy under direct enemy fire and brought several wounded off the field. Splended behavior. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

I watched the whole thing. Joe was actually lucid and spoke well. he even dropped the life, liberty, and pursuit of mumble mumble line alluding to him being pro-life. anyway,,, I got a little blurry eyed as I always do when someone gets the MOH.
