like really like the look of the 405
I went 404 Jeffery though i found it work's alittle better on chipmunk's and stray cat's

I have yet to get my swage set for the 404 i took the .423 Diam rather than go the other size's like .419 and up

I thought since the newer jeffery's 404 were in .423 that that would be a good starting point...

Hay that 375 is kinda nice what are you running in the way of FPS with mid size bullet's in it .

I don't have a chronograph so I have no idea as to velocity.
I use the loading data for the 35 Whelen for loading my 375 Whelen, with the same bullet weight.

A question...
Are you putting jackets on these 404s?
Where you getting jackets?

Right now Butch has just this-- .423 i have in a .030 wall

You have? bought from him before . right
All the jacket's are soft copper not hard like the once's the aussie's make....
There VERY good jacket's in about any lenght you want them
