Most use Standard 110 copper rod
It's what i will be using when i am ready to do run's of solid's.

Thay use a CNC lathe to do there bullet's
I don't my press is big enough to swage them from bar stock

Many company's use alttle bit of Tin in the rod some use teflon in there rod's .

I found that just using Standard 110 copper rod
work's well and if for some reason someone wanted a harder solid bullet there's always the carbide rod insert that can be added to the copper by drilling out a hollow in the base and inserting it into it that way or from the top and swaging the top over on it to cover the core up.
