Amazing story. More, with some additional photos:

I'm surprised there is no Wikipedia article on a George Farr, nor anything about a Farr trophy. Seems like both should be there.

As my Army rifleman buddy would say if he was still with us, "That's some hard holding!" RIP S.Sgt. Jack Joyner, a friend gone too soon. patriot

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Thanks for posting.About 35 years ago or so I went to a local turkey shoot to benefit the volunteer fire dept. Centerfire was 3 shots @ 100 yds. They let you shoot off of a bench. One old man showed up with his M1 Garand. He dropped to the ground + fired prone 3 times faster than you could count. He got his turkey + left.

Never mistake motion for action.
