Thinking of visiting the NRA Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg this weekend. Haven't been before. Anybody going? Anybody gone before and have any advice?

I’m going at some point, I try to make it every year or two if the weather isn’t awful.

If you haven’t been before, it’s a big show. Wear comfy walking clothes. A daypack for stuff you buy or clothes layers you shed and a bottle of water aren’t a bad idea. I usually park at the Bass Pro in Harrisburg for free and take the free bus to the GAOS. I’m a cheapskate and let the bus driver deal with the traffic.

You can spend a whole day there and not see everything so it’s best to decide if you’re a hunter, fisherman, bowhunter, or gun lover and plan your route accordingly.
