How many lumens are needed to search for blood when trailing critters. I do alot of tracking for people this time of year and need a new light. I don't know if I need 3, or 5, or maybe 15, or more. What is your experience. Thanks and God Bless, Louis | ||

I bought a 95 Lumen LED Coleman ($19 Walmart)sort of mini-light (shirt pocket size, you know those about 1 inch in diameter and about 4 inches long) that runs on 3 AAA batteries, supposedly having a 5 hour run time on those 3, maybe, maybe not. But it is quite bright and would easily show up blood. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process. | |||
