Ever watch "Doomsday Preppers"?

One of their recent stars found out why, if you prep, you keep your mouth shut.

He was on the TV show bragging about how he was prepared, I think it was one of the southerners from his accent. Idiot had to tell the world how ready he was to defend his preps and deal with anyone who came around after the Apocalypse. Somebody didn't wait, got about $3K worth of generator and stuff, and trashed the place. I believe it was the moron who built the treehouse and sheathed it in mylar.

I've known some hard-core end-of timers. the kind that has weapons and ammo and rations buried in the woods, etc. And they wouldn't tell their mother what they had and where it was. For all intent and purposes, they were very ordinary appearing folks. They certainly didn't do anything to call attention to themselves.
