We all know guys like that. They weren't anything in real life other than a self-promoter.

Wanted to be a Navy SEAL. Sounds like that is as close as he got.

We see pictures of the real Metal of Honor recipients and few are big macho types. Most are skinny guys who look like they would not hurt anyone, but when the chips were down they rose to meet the challenges.
You never know who the real heroes are until they are needed.

I have several books concerning MOH recipients,one by Col. Cooper as well. I would love to see a book done about the lads who earned it using a 1911.Just a personal quirk.
