Years ago there was a movie titled "The Cowboys" staring John Wayne. There was a song in that movie that was entitled "lay down by the fire" or something like that. I cannot for the life of me find the lyrics for that song anywhere. Maybe I have the title wrong or something.

Anyone?

I don't see that on the soundtrack.

I see these with the time the song begins in the video below:

-00:00 = "Overture"
-01:53 = "Main Title"
-04:04 = "Wild Horses"
-05:35 = "Bedtime Story"
-07:17 = "The Drive"
-08:55 = "The Trap" *
-11:06 = "End Of The Drive / End Title" *
-12:26 = "Exit Music"

Composed and Conducted by John Williams, performed by the Hollywood Studio Symphony.

Many years ago when we first had truck to base radios ,I was in the HVAC industry but we shared a frequency with a local cattle ranch.Just out of youth + meanest I would get on the radio + give Eddie Arnlold's "cattle call".Guess you had to be there to see the humor.

Never mistake motion for action.
