You are absolutely right. It's a boat... ****************** "Policies making areas "gun free" provide a sense of safety to those who engage in magical thinking..." Glenn Harlan Reynolds

Without seeing the inside, it is hard to comment, but based on what I see, with a minimum of work it could be made perfectly functional. Replacing the wood should be no problem. If you're on a budget, use 3/4 inch exterior plywood and paint it thoroughly, especially sealing the edges. It won't last like marine plywood, but should serve for years if you give it some attention as you install it. Not everyone can afford or needs the latest/greatest to enjoy a day on the water. Go for it. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Junk not worth the time or effort. There are many nice boats out there. That does not look like one.

Not being able to see the inside, I'd guess it could very well turn into a money pit where you end up with more time and money tied up than a new one would cost. And, if you decide to sell the finished product, you'll never get the money you've put into it back. Aim for the exit hole

The transom looks shot, the hull needs a few cracks filled and maybe reinforced on the inside. The inside is another matter, hard to tell whether it's the kind of place you'd place a fanny.
