When a buddy of mine from college won the state lottery,I quit playing. I know,odds are odds but 2 guys that knew each other winning?

Some one would have to have more money then they knew what to do with.

Some people view these items as jewelry.

I think a $25,000+ double rifle that can only shoot 1.5 inches at 50 yards or a $65,000 pick-up is a waste of money.

When I was at Purdey in September they had a pocket watch, full coverage engraving with an Elk in the center for £59,000.00.

I tried to talk my wife into buying it for me but she wouldn't.

That's kind of like what the Master Gunmaker I apprenticed under told me... if you want to make a million dollars as a gunsmith start with two and work at it.

How well I know.When Reagan was in I had my FFL + built custom rifles + did a bit of general gunsmithing. I never made any big money at it. I worked 6 days a week doing my regular business in the metal shop + spent Sunday doing the gun business + all I really got out of it was a divorce.
