Great detail and interesting mouth pose. Not a form I would want but magnificent none the less.

Nice work but the rearing up doesn't do it for me.

But then I am not the one paying for it. Roll Eyes

Wonderful work. As to P Dog's comment: I think I'd opt for the front feet on the ground back legs kicking -- like you see sable running away all the time. But that's a posing issue and I assume this is the way the client wanted it. It's superb. I'm sure the client is delighted.

Very nice work, but like others, the pose doesn't do it for me. Reminds me of a carousel horse.

Thanks Guys, but the area this was to be placed did not have 10 feet of floor space to do a running front leg down rear end up type mount.
Take into consideration for that type of pose that sable would be that long from tip of nose to the back of the rear foot. As he in now to the top of his horns is 10"4" and the room needed on the floor is a mear 5'. Gotta pose'em the way the client wants and to their specs and area. Big Grin

Oh, that's why Roy had trigger mounted in that pose, huh? dancing

P.S. -- I really DO understand fulfilling the client's wishes. Wink

The teeth are really a nice touch. The owner should add another animal to join the fight! Would really make a good scene.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
