I have only contacted Jerry Huffaker 2 or 3 times a few years ago. Never did any business with the fine gentleman. I only asked for some crack fixing info. He gave it freely, his info worked great. I have been unable to contact him to share this bullshit scam attempt. So far I am saving it so I can fwd it to him. The following is a full quote in case it gets deleted. Please feel free to contact him and have him connect with me on some other means than this account.

On the 2nd I rec'd an e'mail from his? "huftax1" "would you be kind enough to help me?"
"sure how?"

"Do you have an Amazon account?" "think so, I have ordered from them, what do you wish?"
'Oh Shit, a Scammer I'll bet!!"


"I have a very dear friend dying with liver cancer, today is her b'day and I promised to get her a $200 Amazon gift card. My bank says my account is messed up and will take 2 or 3 days to correct. I want to get this card to her for her b'day". "would you please buy it and send it to her for me?"
"sure I'd be glad to do that for you, how do I send it?"
Re: I was just playing the game to get info.

Each of these have Jerry's full address and info as he always signed off with.


I only want everyone here to be aware of such scams. Has anyone else been contacted this way?

I also got a weird message from Huffaker a couple of weeks ago It asked if we could have some text talk as I (he) is not on the phone much.
Don't know him and never met or talked to him.
He got hacked I think.

Definitely a scam.

Jerry knows. His computer had a trojan on it and has since been repaired.

If you look at the email address the scam came from it is similar but a couple characters different than Jerry's.
