Just my opinion, and nothing more, but I love full body mounts, especially for the great cats. I couldn't do this to a such a trophy. W  | |||

Its hard to decide and I also love the rugs but after taking one of the great cats we have in this world I went for a full mount!  | |||

Those look perfectly normal to me.... Maybe that is because I sat in that room on my first trip to Africa in 2000. That is Fredrich Redeker's Westfallenhof ranch in Namibia. Maybe you think they should have been done as full mounts, but I can guarantee that these are just a couple of the leopard/cheetah trophies that Fredrich has killed. Fredrich does have a full mount of a brown hyena in his main house. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. Rug the cats...full mount the hyena! LOVE IT! As much as I really admire Anton's place in particular (absolutely gorgeous, my friend!) and while I recognize people are of different priorities/means, I can't help but look at taxidermy anymore and think to myself, "I could have hunted XYZ with that money"! Two full mount cats, for example, starts to approach the cost of an end of season buffalo hunt, after all. | |||
