Wow,you are a sculpture artist and a great taxidermist. The anatomy is right on . I like the simple base with the native spear.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Do the ribs show through on the finished mount?

I have only seen that in old cows here on White Sands Missile Range, never seen a prime bull with his ribs showing.

He looks very realistic other than that.

I think it's great. Don't really see any ribs showing on the final mount, but whether they did or didn't would be an individual thing and an older bull would be likely to not be in prime condition.
Very nice work. Ignore the critics.

Thank you for the compliments.
Thought some would be interested to see.
The ribs (in ? ) were made to be very subtle, just barely visible ( with skin on ), to my preference only.
