I have a Sharpe's Grysbok skinned for a life sized mount and need pose ideas. I'm looking for something out of the ordinary, maybe with some action or a unique pose. Can anybody help?

Hi Scott, how about this but altered slightly. Running pose can lower neck outstretched more, raise nose to increase the look of speed and have attached on one front leg only...He'd look like he was going all out..

Dennis,
I like it, but let's keep the ideas coming. Your sleeping lioness was the inspiration for asking for a unique pose. I think that is one of the finest mounts I have ever seen.

Thanks Do you have a Caracal...something like this would be great for a Grysbok / Caracal Combo.

OKAY how about this RUNNING Grysbok suspended on wall by itself... and a small base below it about 14" long with some habitat, grasses and small twigs , The grysbok IS NOT attached to the base at all it is running and 6" inches off the base just about to land from his last leap and ready to take another.

This would fit there perfectly and just fill that space! Back feet of the grysbok would be just outside the frame of the TV and the base would extend about the same a few inches past the TV on the other side....
BTW The NYALA look great there and so does the Leopard !

What "look" would you put on his face?

Alert to his surroundings, he's been jumped but not is distress, ears back listing to is back trail , slight 1/8" open mouth very slightly cracked open , is breathing hard. Head turned out toward your couch back legs close to wall slight body twist front inner foot towards the turn ready to set for another leap....

As you can tell I see a mount in my mind, I can visualize what it will be before I ever start it...

Thanks Svinejakt, I'll post more photos in a couple of weeks when the room is done.

Dennis, I'll send you an e-mail.

Scott, if you can think it, Dennis can do it. He did that Caracal and Spring Hare for a client of mine. I liked it so well, I want mine done the same.
