While not technically DFW, Jerry Huffaker of Huffaker Taxidermy in Abilene simply cannot be beat. He graciously does all of my Africa mounts and they are simply outstanding. It's worth the drive but I believe he may deliver in the DFW area as well if you don't mind waiting a little longer. You'll have to ask him though. He posts on AR regularly. Huffaker Taxidermy | |||

I second Jerry Huffaker and you may want to consider Gary Damuth in Brady. Both have done work for me and are equally outstanding. Jerry Hoover | |||

We live in Alaska and still use Jerry Huffaker for African taxidermy. He's an artist. He’s never done anything for me, but by his posts and the recommendations above, Jerry sounds like your man. I don’t recall the last taxidermist I used in Dallas. I did use a guy in Fort Worth at Alpine Gun Range for a bobcat. It came out looking like Garfield. I had my African animals done over there. I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills.
