I have a skull from a safari about 5 years ago. It probably was boiled and doesn't have a nice finish. Can anything be done to improve its looks. I have it in a drawer as I don't like it. Paul Gulbas | ||

eyeman, you can bleach it yourself but an experienced taxidermist can bleach, seal and finish to a good look. Cost shouldn't be more than $100-$150 at most. Get you a display case (used for sports balls) at Hobby Lobby, Old Time Pottery or Michael's for $25-$50. Done correctly, they are attractive displays. Like LDK says, get a good taxidermist to finish it and put in the proper display case like I did.  | |||
