Last year I had a problem with insects in my trophy room. Probably moths. I used a combination of freezing and inescticides, that seemed to work.
But since I couldn't freeze the biggest objects, I have been looking after them every know and then.
It doesn't seem to be any activity, but this is hard to detect before it's to late.
So I want to be on the safe side and do a fumigation/fogging.
What product would you suggest?
Are the Canovel Home Blitz any good?

i had to do this for moths a few years back & used a dairy insecticide, but i can't remember what it was. there is also a 2 part thing that works good, but don't know what that was either. in anycase closing up the room and spraying it down and leaving it closed up for a day or 2 afterwards sure did do the job.

Thanks butchloc,
I've done a similar thing every now and then, with a nowegian insecticide spray. It's a bottle with spray called Radar. I spray for a few seconds. Then leave the room closed for appr. 20 minutes. Then open door and windows to get some air in (ventilate). And it seems I've gotten the problem under control.
But to be on the safe side, I want to use some sort of fumigation.
Isn't that some sort of smoke gadget? Smiler

Raid Fumigator works very well. You get two per box. Follow the directions. It emits a true fog, not just a can of bug spray spewing into the air. If you have a small room that you can place all your mounts into, that works best. Cover any furniture with bedsheets, then wash them after use. Do not allow the fog to enter food, dining or sleeping areas. Next, get a product from your Taxidermist called Pro-Tex. It is available from WASCO supply in GA.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Thanks!
I also got a tip to use something called Canovel Home Blitz, which should be quite effective on all kinds of insects. Will order both! Smiler
