I am moving and a majority of my stuff (including my european mounts - african plains game) will have to be in storage. Is there any special way I need to store them? (They will be in a storage unit) They will be stored in Oregon. I guess I'm worried about changing temperatures causing condensation. Any advice? NRA Life Member | ||

How about this: contact a local sporting goods store in OR or AK. Pick one's that have been in business a long time and should have no future problems. Make them a deal: they hang your horns up in their store until you can ship them home or in AK, bring them home. It will save you $$ on storage and the worry about humidity, rats/vermin and other possible problems. Get a signed letter from the store owner stating their value (for insurance purposes) in case someone steals them, fire or damage. Don't leave them too long.
