"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Yep , had to put her up on something.
She had a large male get aggresive on her and broke her back leg, they had to amputate it, it was bad, they could not even pin it to save it. Vet worked hours on her. She made it thru that and lived a few days, but the stress of all of it took her. She was only 2 1/2. This pose worked with her missing leg.

The local taxidermist across the border in BC, when I lived in Washington state had a tiger that the local zoo had die. He bought it for $1000 from the zoo, and I could have bought it for $2500 rugged if I lived on the other side of the border.

That was in 1997.

I have seen them for sale recently for $8000 in the US.
