Trophy shrinkage

I have several trophies that I've been thinking to get measured, but because the closest measurer is quite a distance away, I haven't been able to get this done.

Just wondered how much the trophies normally shrink and when this happens?
I've heard that all trophies will shrink quite a bit from right after the shot (green score) and for the next months. All trophies must dry for three months before they can be measured, I think?
But will they keep on shrinking after three months?
I've got some trophies that's 2-3 years old. My major question is. Should I try to get them measured as soon as possible, or are the trophies "stabilized"? Smiler

I think trophies continue to shrink with age, but six months is the end of "green" stage and they are then measureable "officially".

Once they are completely dry there should be very little if any shrinkage. At least not enough to worry when measuring in 1/8'' increments.
