I have several trophies that I've been thinking to get measured, but because the closest measurer is quite a distance away, I haven't been able to get this done. Just wondered how much the trophies normally shrink and when this happens? I've heard that all trophies will shrink quite a bit from right after the shot (green score) and for the next months. All trophies must dry for three months before they can be measured, I think? But will they keep on shrinking after three months? I've got some trophies that's 2-3 years old. My major question is. Should I try to get them measured as soon as possible, or are the trophies "stabilized"? I think trophies continue to shrink with age, but six months is the end of "green" stage and they are then measureable "officially". _______________________

Once they are completely dry there should be very little if any shrinkage. At least not enough to worry when measuring in 1/8'' increments.
