Amazing work Jerry...

I would be even more impressed if I did not dislike Baboons so much!

I really like that, plus it doesn't take up too much wall space.

Thanks!

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I want one standing at attention in an Afrika Korps uniform or Hunting Khaki's and pith helmet with a double rifle.

Maybe bookends one of each.

Haven't been able to bring myself to shoot one. Most humorous opportunity was in a fly camp in Masailand. Had pretty much shot everything available, so were sitting around the mess tent at lunch time having lunch and a couple of Sunuppers (coined a new word).

There was a god-awful commotion in the kitchen tent -- banging and clanging, profanity, screeching, etc. The camp manager ran, huffing and puffing, to the mess tent and asked me in Swahili if I wanted to shoot a baboon.

After my PH and I stopped laughing, I said hapana. The noise died down shortly thereafter.
