I'm flying into Harare and hunting with Zambezi hunters in August. Are there any taxidermists in Harare area that I can leave my stuff to be dipped and packed with and possibly do some taxidermy work that you guys would recomend. Zambezi hunters has recomended one aready but I wanted to get other thoughts on it and check out some prices.
Most of my stuff I will bring home to get done but I was thinking of some european wall plaque mounts for one and was thinking of a possible half mount crocodile if it happened I wanted to hunt one. I also might want some hides tanned.
Any info on it would be great.
Thanks

Andy Hunter is THE ONLY dip/pack outfit I'd recommend. Get your trophies home and have them mounted by a competent, experienced Taxidermist who has plenty of hands on time with African game. References would be mandantory. LDK

Ive been in two shops in Bulawayo, neither would get my work. Course I do my own, but that being said, my advice is have everything sent here. Ive remounted too much stuff done in Africa(even euros). I think I used a company called Maple Freight when I was there.

I would recommend having your PH bring your trophies to the one he uses for the dipping and packing but I would bring everything home. Go to your taxidermist and get their shipping tag/info packet.I have seen a lot of bad things from the work done over there and all I do is say, you should of brought them back to the USA for there is nothing I can do but to start all over again..Good luck on the hunt.. patriot

-Only use Andy Hunter for dip and pack.
-This is just about the only area I do NOT listen to my PH. No matter what prices you hear or what kind of deals you're offered, bring your stuff home for taxidermy.
